CVT film Sue Flood with Michael Palin in London

We were very excited to film a live interview between Sue Flood (award-winning global wildlife photographer) and Michael Palin (comedy legend and travel documentary presenter) to promote the launch of her new book “Emperor - the Perfect Penguin”. This took place in the Natural History Museum, London in front of a full audience including numerous VIP guests such as Harry Shearer of “The Simpsons” fame.

We used eight cameras on the interview and this allowed maximum creativity when editing by offering numerous camera angles. After the interview, guests had the opportunity to enjoy a glass of wine and chat to Sue in person during a book signing session.

Sony Xperia XZ1 promo

We were recently commissioned to produce a short promo video to help launch Sony’s new Xperia XZ1 smartphone via social media. We used a super slow-motion camera in order to capture stunning formations created by paint jumping off a vibrating speaker cone.

The video was filmed and edited at CVT Studios and Sony were extremely impressed with our extensive facilities. Although this job was particularly challenging, we had great fun working with the team at Woodlands Marketing bringing Sony’s concept to life.

CVT UPDATE NYNAS HEALTH AND SAFETY INDUCTION VIDEO

In 2011 CVT were commissioned to produce a safety induction video programme aimed at tanker drivers to encourage safe delivery of bitumen, a dangerous substance when transported at elevated temperatures. We’ve recently completed an update which required some additional filming on location at Eastham Refinery, plus special effects were used to avoid having to re-shoot large sections of the programme. This was extremely cost effective for the client who was delighted with this solution and the end results.
